As a former Young Gun (35 and under) in the Mortgage Industry, I know how hard it is to make an impact at a young age. This is why I am very proud to have mentored my first Young Gun - Carl Pereria.
A year back I decided to give back to two communities, the one I live in, Oakville and the one I work in, the Mortgage Broker Community. Part of my way of giving back in mentoring young agents that show the passion and determination I know it takes to be successful, but lack the industry experience and knowledge. We took Carl from never writing a mortgage to $10mil ++ in his first year and is now supporting future agents we hire to support their growth in the industry.
Young Guns will be the face of the Mortgage Industry in the future. The industry is "old" in age by some standards and investing in the next generation is very important and we are at the forefront.
With all that being said, success in our industry is very reliant on ones teams infrastructure and partnerships. I am fortunate to have the infrastructure, including an amazing Manager of Credit, Lisa Alphonso and great lending partners from banks, credit unions, mono line lenders, trust companies and private lending partners that I want to sincerely thank!
Congratulations Carl and thanks to all those that are supporting our growth initiatives. For the link to the young guns article and an exert on Carl, see below!
